All righty. So I did a little video log.  I tried to edit out the junk video at the beginning, but every time I rendered it, the video started too far after the beginning, so I decided not to waste any more time and let you have it RAW.  Here it is:

The project to which I was referring is xeraen which, by the way, I totally misspelled in the video, haha – I was rushing the video as I was already late for my dinner plans.  I’ve come up with some guidelines that I plan to follow for this creativity experiment.  Here they are in no particular order:

• The album must contain at least 8 songs.
• The album must be at least 40 minutes long.
• At least 4 of the songs must contain a significant amount of vocals.
• At least 2 of the songs with vocals must have lyrics.
• Any genre or combination thereof may be used.
• Each song should be as cohesive as possible (i.e. no concatenations of random riffs/parts/ideas).
• Show dynamic contrast not only within songs but also among different songs.

I believe those are enough rules for a first try.  I’m hoping this turns out well.  If it does, it may be something that I do more often.  So definitely be on the lookout for the results of this experiment!  =)
