The language of the soul. http://videogamemetal.com/music-the-language-of-the-soul-1397 http://videogamemetal.com/music-the-language-of-the-soul-1397#comments Tue, 01 May 2012 17:07:53 +0000 Donna http://videogamemetal.com/?p=1397 Who else out there uses music as his primary means of expressing emotion?  I know I do.  That’s probably why I’m such a voracious music consumer (14,000 songs on my iPod…  and counting).  Gotta have plenty of variety to account for that vast continuum of human emotion!  Truly there aren’t many genres of music I don’t care for.  Each one appeals to a different human experience, and to me it feels like every one of us has a little of all of those experiences within, even if most of us don’t choose to express those various sides of ourselves through music.  To me, the primary genre of music a person listens to can tell you a lot about him.  So, what say you all you metal-heads out there?  What’s your primary genre, and what does that say about you as a person?
